His 'WHY' is bigger than his pain

This Sunday, is special as our dear friend Kumar runs his first ever 10kms at Thump! Celebration Bengaluru run. He has taken up this initiative to cater to the expenses of the feeding programme. This year the Feeding programme will help to give a meal and gift during this Christmas season to 500 underprivileged children in and around Bengaluru. The Fishermen trust has been devoted to this campaign since 2011.

Kumar has been part of these programme and knows how it feels when you give food to a joyous child with a big smile. The feeling of giving a gift which is received with heaps of laughter. There is joy and love all around.

He has been honest with his goal of meeting expenses for the feeding programme and preparing for the 10kms run. Every day he devotes certain time to talk to his friends and family, telling them about the need of this programme. While his mornings are spent in doing practice runs. Even though he suffers from calf muscle pain and fondness for rice, he has been pushing himself to run consistently and eat healthy. His runs have been painful but strong as he is running with a big ‘WHY’.

Kumar is an inspiration and will continue being one as he works to achieve something bigger than him. We encourage you to fall behind him and push him towards his goal. Please help him raise 2 lakhs to meet the expenses for the feeding programme and transform lives. For more information you can email him at kumaravelu2684@gmail.com or call at 9036179795
